Children under the care of Eagle-Condor have either been abandoned, or are at-risk of being so, due to extreme poverty. Children at risk are often abused and/or have little formal education. Their situation leads to low self-esteem, skepticism, mistrust, insecurity, aggressiveness, attachment and/or other emotional disorders. ECH works with children to provide the basics of food, shelter & hygiene so they can gain access to education & skill development. In many of our location, interns work one-on-one with children fostering personal identity, self esteem, habits of cleanliness, order, discipline and work. Our aim is to have our children enter into the job market having the tools and experiences to communicate and decide their own development. Upon child sponsorship, we will provide more details about your child and invite you to get to know them.

Having lost the use of her legs and ability to work and provide for her family, Manise took her daughter Dieunita to an orphanage. Manise’s life was forever changed when she received a sewing machine. With tears streaming down her face she simply said, “merci anpil” and “may God bless you.”
