Sponsor a Child and Change a Life!
Rodrigo would love for you to be his sponsor. He is 9 years old and in good health. He is in an agreement with Eagle Condor that he will regularly attend school in exchange for food and tutoring at the shelter. He is currently in 3rd grade at Andres Abelino Caseles. Rodrigo interacts very well with both adults and other children. He is not afraid to talk to the interns and is willing to ask questions and answer them. He has several friends at El Bichito and likes to play games and try new learning activities. He smiles a lot and even jokes around. He can be competitive when playing games but is not angered easily and does not take to losing too hard. Rodrigo is not shy or afraid of any situations presented.
Rodrigo is fairly well groomed and clean. His clothes are free of rips and stains and he wears shoes that fit and are clean. He does not resist when we ask him to wash his hands and often will do it without being told.

Sponsor a Micro-Loan!
Wilde Pretel Leon has graduated from
our micro-loan training and is now a client waiting for a loan. He is a father and a religious leader in La Esperanza, Peru who wants to improve his transportation business. He has several years experience in this type of industry, and now he would like to get his own vehicle (combi). If you’d like to sponsor our micro-loan fund to help an entire family, please click here: Micro-Loans

A Ball of Love from the Aldea!
“Alfredo, a 5 year-old little boy, always has everyone wrapped around his finger. This boy loves to show us all his love for us through hugs and kisses even when he gets embarrassed from us. Alfredo is very small and so easy to pick up and hug, which I love because every time I do, he laughs really hard. I don’t know what life would be like without Alfredo always playing outside our house. He makes life so happy.”
Thanks to all of our interns for sharing yourself with all of us! Give yourself a treat and check out all the updates and stories from our interns on the children’s blog.

Heartbeats
“When people donate their time, they are giving of their valuable heartbeats.”
Sandy and John Durnford from San Antonia, Texas are a pretty cool family! Big thanks to them for donating our first bookcase
for El Bichito’s literacy center. We are on our way!
In addition we’d like to thank recent Eagle Scouts in the SLC area, specifically Parker Brown, and individual donors who have supplied books for the children to read. Our interns are making good use of them!
